This is Cardrona Distillery's 2022 Limited Edition Single Malt Whisky and their very first release in the much-demanded full size 700ml bottle!

An exquisite marriage of four hand selected Felton Road Pinot Noir casks, with only 1217 bottles in the world. This expression demonstrates a mastery of both maturation in an extreme environment and world-leading innovation in cask management.

Cardrona Distillery have developed a revolutionary method to preserve the delicate wine seasoning of locally sourced Quercus Robur Pinot Noir wine casks, sourced exclusively from Felton Road. To preserve the fresh and vibrant red fruit notes of the seasoning, they collect the casks from the local winery, landing them in the Cardrona Valley within hours of the wine dumping and fill the casks immediately with Cardrona New Make Spirit.

The casks were filled on the 23rd of April 2018, rested and matured in the extreme environment of the Cardrona Valley before being bottled at 52% in 700ml bottles on the 14th of August 2022 and released worldwide on the 4th of November (Cardrona Distilleries birthday).

Palate: Firm, silky tannin, oak forward, dried raspberries. Opens to poached nectarine, toffee milk, roasted cashew and baking spices
