Perhaps this new trend of ageing wine in bourbon or rum casks is catching on, Australians are doing it too. This is not about subtlety, in fact, the complete opposite, big, bold and in your face. Uber ripe fruit provides the basis for this bold style, sweet fruit is supported by the rum flavoured oak. Some will love it.
